Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

Beuracaceatic Processes and Redundant meetings increasing alongside management hostility

Bunch of randoms never seen or interacted with before have started swooping down from their ivory towers trying to justify existence and taking it out on ground level engineering . Seems like they're dramatically increasing random and obscure procedures and meetings looking for any excuse to cut for performance and noncompliance

@a5 ... white papers what a joke. Copy the latest and make a few updates for your project. Right, that is meaningful. It is like getting CCB approval for something. You are getting approval from unqualified people who have a CYA checklist to use before they approve anything.

Intel is like the cool guys in highschool. They ruled during highschool, now the nerds (AMD) are successful and rich and those cool guys have gained weight and barely making it.

With so many hoops and layers of approvers and watchers it's become near impossible to update a spec, close a QEF, or get a white paper approved... So people just no longer do it.

They’re gutting the company for sale. Lip bu has no plans. 14a and 18a are obsolete already. That’s why they split the company in two. That’s why they asked the 65 (almost 66) year old hundred millionaire to come in and clean house. That’s why pat is on twitter praying for us. At least pat had a plan and gave us visual tracking on that plan. New ceo has given NOTHING except inflated signing bonuses to all his buddy he hires to replace the other executives jumping ship.

What, do you guys just gloss over the email he sends out every two weeks informing us about handfuls of executives “deciding to leave Intel”.
