One year the team I was on decided as a group to be open & honest on the pulse survey on our assessment of our useless manager, a VP. The result was HR conducting 1:1 discussions with all of us to get more input. Nothing was ever done to improve the VP. The following year we sat in a conference room and took the survey as a group, making sure we all used the same wording for any free form text areas and using the same ratings on questions. Nothing ever became of our honest assessment of our team, work, or the VP. The process did however bring us closer in the shared experience of being ignored by MGMT and HR.

Tech is 57% non-white. White men have to be twice as good to get promoted. Fid needs to quit discriminating against white men. So yes, I did complain about tech diversity. I thought our job sites should be representative of the communities they resided in. My org is at least 75% non-white. It’s very difficult to find and hire a qualified white man so what is Fidelity doing to hire more qualified white men? Nothing. Doesn’t fit the woke narrative which is just a ruse to discriminate against us.

“Improve on tech team's diversity”

Uh… they have tried but people who run these teams keep pushing out anyone who doesn’t look like them or their master (white males).

OP here again. You won't die to voice your concern, especially in the Pulse survey where the firm is eagerly listen. I sent an email to former head of diversity complaining the severe lack of diversity in tech teams and got a reach out from HR six months later. The lady patiently listened to my complaint, asked a few clarifying questions and nothing happened another six months past by: to the problem I complained or me.

Everyone please use the free form questions at the end of the survey to offer your constructive feedback. All in all, Fidelity is still the best employer at where I live.

OP here. I just submitted a second response to raise my concern on tech team diversity.

The link of the survey is qualtrics.com and they capture our identity via single sigh on (SSO) ?

It's naive to think A# is not logged.

Fido is worse than big brother in terms of "watching everything"

With that said, it's better to die a hero than living in a fear...

So let's all vent out the frustration of how we are made to feel miserable.
