Peakon surveys are a trap. You say anything against the manager, they will be chased out of the team, no matter the performance. The language, the context, the sentences make it clear clear as to who provided the feedback and they will be chased and harassed and discouraged and put down. No pay increase, cut bonus in half, no RSUs.
I have seen it repeatedly in my team.
There are those who get no pay increase and other benefits inspite of high quality of work and those who get the most just because they always butter the manager. Seen people chased out of the team.
Higher level management should keep on eye on these extremes and try and and check if these are genuine and make sense, otherwise there is always unfair treatment and the team members are forced to only provide positive feedback.
Sick of management being unfair.
