Has anyone who was part of the 5/13 layoffs landed something new? I haven’t found anything yet and haven’t had any interviews. Interested in hearing how others are doing.

Got the axe recently and was wondering the same. Hoping to land on my feet in a couple months max.
I accepted an offer with a negotiated start date of Sept 2 (they preferred immediate.). This way I get to relax for the summer and know I have a job waiting in September. Win-win.
I wasn't looking. A recruiter reached out around the time the layoffs were announced, and the job happened to suit me. Just lucky timing, really.
@OP Average market time to find a new job right now is 4-6 months, this is not me but was told by experienced career consulars. So stop working on project work on yourself.
Be prepared to leave MI , these people will ban you for life and there are no other openings or actual hirings,, so start packing if you know your leaders well.
To the person who says poor performers get laid off… I got great reviews, was very productive, received positive feedback, managers requested me for their projects… Still got laid off. I know other stellar, well respected people who were let go. If you think your “high performance” will keep you safe you haven’t been paying attention.
Yes, I have got 3 offers, and still interviewing. Market is crazy!!!
Nothing in Michigan
@ck, @ch here. I'd make sure you are using Linked In. Set status to Open To Work. Create a post about being laid off. Recruiters will contact you. Make sure to vet them. Usually if they have a JD and a company name they are legit. Respond quickly.
Cold applying, especially Easy Apply, only work in about 1% of cases. You should be applying, but don't expect much.
If a recruiter reaches out they've already vetted your profile. Make sure your profile matches your resume.
Good luck.
Cut in November. Had a gig but then another company bought them so suddenly, don't have a gig.
Good and bad performance doesn’t matter with layoffs. It’s simply - wrong place at the wrong time. You were doing x - we aren’t doing it anymore. It’s unfortunate
Laid off 5/13. Several interviews, have one offer and awaiting a second.
You have to make finding a new job your full time job.
@c7 bro’s a certified top level hater with S tier instigation skills, I fu--ing love it 😂😂😂 I respect it
Haha, all these people that trash Ford but now you find out that no one wants you. You got laid off because you weren’t a good performer, and now the market is telling you the same thing.
released Feb. Nothing yet.
@am Best of luck! Hopefully we hear more soon.
I’m in software. Been applying places but not hearing anything back in SE MI
