With mass no lay off plans is it time to close this thread?
Yes - I know the layed off bommers will cry, & I know those who can’t get a job elsewhere will remain disgruntled.
But am genuinely wondering as this forum run its course?

There are some layoff going on at procurement team.
I think you just jinxed whoever is left. Like saying the phase 'it's quiet' in the ER. You never know.
By removing the LTI for 14/15 they have cleared out a bunch of middle managers and yet did not need to pay for severance. What a good move from BB.
The lack of layoffs (announced) is probably because Gibbons and Monish are gone. Peter cut so deeply so he could get that 3 performance ranking (outstanding) and bank a cool 5 million. Not much left to cut, at least JG15 and lower.
@OP If you haven't noticed, the company has hired outside analysts, and implemented AI software. Tracking your every movement, every key stroke is the new way. Data is what they crave. They did not make that investment for nothing in return. Make yourself valuable or be weeded out.
Don’t you worry. More layoffs are coming, but I’m just calling it RTO.
Be patient ... they will be coming at some point. 3M has jumped the shark and there is only one direction it is going. Just pray that pension fund holds out - I am!
