Shelves Plans For Any New Midsized Airplane Until 2035

Article is on simply flying. What incentive does anyone who is thinking about leaving a retired. Have to stay in the workforce at Boeing?

There'll be a moment in time where we'll pull the rabbit out of the hat and introduce a new airplane sometime in the middle of the next decade."

It is well known the leadership never had plans to actually field any new airplane. They elected to implement a 10 year going out of business plan in 2013 that would maximize executive wealth generation. Read the minutes of the annual executive desert meeting.

Imagine this would be very depressing news for engineers at Boeing. Also imagine there are few real engineers at Boeing these days.

I believe Boeing commercial aircraft would like to divest itself of Boeing Defense services. However, most people realize that BDS is a loser in the defense industry without having won another major program since they won the F18.

Neither Lockheed and Grumman have any interest in purchasing BDS.

Maybe Spirit Aero but that’s a long shot.

According to Forbes, Boeing is posturing for breakup and going out of the airline business:

Between cancelling NMA, the 737 Max fiasco, and Covid, Boeing got knocked out of the race and Airbus will dominate from now on. To sustain those kind of blows and still maintain the industry lead would require a very talented, motivated workforce led by visionary leadership willing to make the right decisions. Instead, because Boeing has been focused on its 'woke culture' transformation, affirmative action hiring/promotions, laying off experienced employees, and draining every bit of cash out of the company, there was no foundation left to weather the storm. As long as these policies persist, they'll be lucky to be 30% of the Air & Space market by 2035

Boeing isn't getting any new business other than from a few airlines that are pregnant with Boeing airlines that have to support Boeing to save themselves.

First of all don’t believe what Executive leadership tells you, at this point they are just playing damage control to get the hopes up of investors. They probably already have plans for a 737 replacement but it won’t be built in Washington state. As for the 777x passenger version we will never see it fly in its current configuration.

And the 777x is counting on amended type cert, claiming it is a derivative of the orig 777, which it is not as everything is new from avionics (787 port), to composite wing and monster engines
With 777x cert delay onto 2024 or 2025, the amend TC route could expire....

They won't be building any 777Xs at all as FAA already stated it can't be certified unless redesigned without folding wingtip.

Where have executives leaked they’re going out of business plan? Instead of worrying about about other people’s “poor writing” you should worry about your poorly documented response. There is no leaked going out of business plan and you know it.

They will continue to build 737 and 787 and 777x airplanes, even though they will have a greatly reduced order book thanks to airbus and China.

But Boeing planning on going out of business is a lie and you know it.

Well yeah, we already know Boeing is done. The last few honest executives there leaked their going out of business plans. Only Boeing objective now is to raise stock price so executives can exercise their stock options before leaving. Your poor writing is also indicative why the US is doomed...d-mb people get the government they deserve.
