Will layoffs continue into next week?

There’s a rumor going around that more than 1,000 people will be let go within the next two weeks. From what I’ve heard, quite a few were affected last week. This is starting to sound like tough times ahead. If anyone has any new information or details to share, please do. We’re all worried.

Many of us came from India on GCP are in bench now and if we dont get a proect in next 4 weeks we will be sent back to our respective home town in India , I was there in Chicago for 3 years, just early this year moved to Houston with the family (Wife & 2 Kids 7th & 11th Standard), leadership guranteed that I will be here for next 4 to 6 years for an SAP IS OIL Implementation project, but the Project ended in Mid June 25 . (Leadership show lots of partiality and they never processed my GC, but my another friend he is closer to GC now )

I was so confused with my CC when he said you have to Collaborate and network, s. o that means Boot LIcKing, now I am clear. I am in SAP and my Sr Manager and directors are d-mb and always I wonder how they got there, now I Understand their strategy of Booting and Lic**king

If you are as brave onsite in the office, like you are incognito here, and indicated your manager got promoted for "Boot licking", no wonder you got laid off. Possibly there are some performance issues on your end? How about man up, find another job and improve performance and behaviour. You are hopefully aware that all those ethics and compliance trainings are not just for signing off a task by a specific date. Some of those principles should be applied in real life, and are valuable not only at work but also in private life. Just from reading your comments, I can tell that you just do not fit ACN culture.

@1pc plse learn just only one skilset , that is BL (Boot Licking), you will be SAFE for many decades and soon you will be promoted and slaves will come to lick your boot too, continue this discipline along your network and coach them, very sincerely and honestly, you will be rewarded the most

In US, when the PM gives the Feedback, it's sent to the CC and it's not visible to the Employee. This isnot logical , the Feedback given by the PM should be visible to the employee (Followed by that there should be a discussion between Employee/CC/PM about the Feedback) and also why employee is not allowed to give a feedback about the manager?? Whether the ACN management is discriminating the Employee? what is the US Law?

If this is performance related, there is nothing much one can do... ACN has strict performance metrics just like any other client they serve. Usually, 5 percent is cut for this reason every year. But this can not be seen as classic layoff, some terms must be strictly used in correct context.

Yes they say its performance related, but no one know how they measure the performance (Feedback from your PM to CC - A dark web communication), but if you are in US and no bonus awarded then your days are just counted and soon you will get a call from your CC soon

This is a common and usal process in US in ACN i.e boot licking, if you are not aware then either you are dump **s or lying, everything has a price (Promotions takes place in the dark rooms and in ACN it is not transparent , when something is happening in the dark room that means it's for sure not a legal move, Case shut & Dusted)

boot licking is the dominant & common culture in ACN US to survive, thats a 500% True Statement and NEOPOTISM is otherwise called Networking in ACN, collobrate your tongue and boot you are SAFE, I am with ACN for the last 14 Years and I definitely see that, when ACN leadership talks about Collobrate & Network that means ..............

Let me summarize your comment... You say that Accenture retained 790 000 average people because of their boot licking abilities? And that from this number 50 000 were finally promoted after year and half of no promotions, because of nepotism? And that best people left, as per last report 10 000 left voluntarily because they were super good? We can not generalize, at some level you might be correct, but this depends. I agree that it is horrible that people are losing jobs, but that it a wider issue, not just ACN - I hope they all find jobs super soon. However, at the same time the market is so unstable, that no one can plan these things, such as contracts being cut. Also, on the topic on performance review, these are in ACN very strict and every year bottom 5 percent get let go for performance issues. The only thing I can say is that I wish from the bottom of my heart, to anyone who lost their job, that they will take a bit of time to grieve and that they will all find even better job soon. Let us try to maintain some positivity and encourage each other.

US already started firing the good people and major hits are in the SAP - Manufacturing, OIL, Utility, Banking are few areas that are badly hit and more to come because of the US attack into Iran few days back (But the true fact is ACN is performing so bad in the last 5 years due to their nepotism and favoritism. Many good working employees were let go and below avg employees are retained due to their boot licking style that Leadership like so much, because they also got promoted to their current leadership role with that same collabration of Boot Licking and **SS licking)
