Thread regarding Teradata Corp. layoffs

Still no press release on JW

I would think they would celebrate that useless diversity hire getting canned.

Does anyone know if JW's hairdresser has been able to find employment?

A news release would only draw attention to the boys club that is now the leadership team.

All C-ladies are gone now, just look at their “leadership” page:

Hillary Ashton: Chief Product Officer
Kathy Cullen-Cote: Chief People Officer
Claire Bramley: Chief Financial Officer
Jaqueline Woods: Chief Marketing Officer
Molly Terese: Chief Legal Officer

I guess the DEI pendulum has swung the other way - as pendulums always do. Doesn’t fix the clock though I’m sorry to say.

Maybe Snowflake will hire Lady Shrek and Teradata will be saved...

You only have to compare the databricks and TD websites for 5 minutes to know there are major problems with TD marketing. What kind of BoD and CEO does TD have if they can't be bothered to go to the TD website from time to time?

They probably put her in charge of the press release

She knew exactly what she was getting into. She went through the motions. She extracted as much $$$$ as she could from the company. She has moved on. Just another day at Teradata.

Leave her alone? After her su-king away millions of dollars as people are laid off doesn’t give that useless hire a pass.

@aw A good honest professional person would recognise the inadequacy of the company / product and exit at the earliest point but she like many of the Sales people decided to rinse the company as long as possible knowing full well what they have been doing. Think of number one and no one else..take the highly paid salaries for as long as possible.

You can’t blame the tool if you have been happy to work with it because the rewards have been good. They are all culpable.

Leave her alone, she tried hard. It is difficult to do anything if product strategy has gone awry.
