Our shop has seen the fewest locomotives in the last few months we have seen. Even the older guys at work have not seen it at north platte. We have a new director. But are any other shops experiencing this? It is concerning and maintenance as usual is terrible. It seems the locomotives are getting worse . Also have any other shops experiencing less fra presencein the shops.

They’re setting outside the shop broke.
this summer will be brutal and they'll be dropping like flies...
They're out hauling freight and breaking down. Why send a locomotive that still works into a shop to have defects fixed when you can run them until they're dead. Don't worry though! The deferred maintenance plans that the UP has is only going to work for so long before it comes back to bite them.
