Thread regarding Truist Bank layoffs

I am grateful for my job

Just want to say I am grateful for my job at Truist. I get to work remotely and at the end of the day, I am thankful to be here. I enjoy my team and manager and enjoy the work I do. I work with some really smart people and have the opportunity to learn a lot, which I appreciate.

Some of you know who I am 😁

@nh respectfully I'll just hope for your sake that doesn't change within the next 6 months. Seems to me like the return to office train keeps building momentum. I'm a remote teammate now but I keep hearing noise about it.

@kg why can’t you work from home? My whole team made the request and now we all are 100% remote, much happier

I would be more grateful for my job if I worked from home too. There is no reason for me to be at work since me and my teammates proved during Covid that we could still be just as efficient at home. Plus my manager works from her home.

Same here; but this group is apparently full of incompetent, miserable teammates that are stuck and have no ability to find jobs that will make them happy so they do nothing but complain and “down vote” people that try to defend this bank on here. Really sad and I truly feel sorry for them.

Next, the OP is going to the paraplegic games to gloat about how they have all their arms and legs. Classy.

@OP I am happy for you. Your post sounds fictional though. Why would you come here to post that if not to gaslight?
