After 20 years, managers should have $250k saved up and paid off their house, so they should be fine, don't feel sad for them.
Don't be a nihilist man. These manager types are gonna be hurting bad mentally and spiritually. Just take it easy. There's more to life than just money. Take up a hobby, smoke some weed and learn to just chill. Big brother/The Man don't need you anymore but the world still goes around man. It may look nothing like your old corporate daydreams but your find your place in the sun.
The average Intel manager has been taking home $200k/yr pushing powerpoints and attending useless meetings. I don’t have any sympathy for them.
No sympathy for the managers getting ousted. They themselves failed and are culpable for the mess. Many will struggle with LAI and landing new jobs. Re-packaging PowerPoint slides and shamelessly claiming others hard work/results as their own won’t command high pay outside of Intel.
