Of course Musk is going to fire an entire team whose only job is to make the platform more accessible for people with disabilities. How absolutely unsurprising and indicative of what the future of Twitter will be like. I agree with the person below, nobody is going to want to work there anymore.

Actually you have it wrong. The ADA applies mainly to private companies, although to government as well. Companies have been sued and lost for running websites that aren't accessible. Twitter must also comply with the ADA. Now, perhaps Musk doesn't care just like he doesn't care about the SEC, but Twitter is legally liable for compliance like any other company.

Assissiblity assessment can be outsourced for as needed basis.
This is a private company, not some kind of government agency beholden to this type of regulations. It's optional, and may be brought back at a later time. But not at SF and not with these people.
That sucks. But if it makes you feel better, and it won't, almost every company ditches the [whatever] Experience team first. It's par for the course.
