Katie went to temple and told a room full of workers during a town hall, BNSF is over invested in foreign markets, and in bed basically with Chinese investors. She cooked the books hoping for a global boost with a democrat whitehouse, bet the wrong way, and in turn based on bad decision making, figuratively sc--wed the pooch. The only problem is had she not been the first female in charge of a class one railroad, she would have been fired long ago, but the optics under the last administration and the DEI cr-p that she pushed for every railroader saved her job until now. But there’s only so long you can cost people 2billion a year while saying you need a seven figure salary, before everyone catches on that she is terrible at her job, and simply follows UP decision making, because she has no idea how to run a railroad. The only way now to cook the books is cut people to try to mitigate losses. But if you go back since she’s taken over the railroad has consistent lost 2 billion a year in profits, spikes in injuries, and within the last 3 years cut almost 1500 people. Roughly 500 or more occurring in the last 6 months, that’s not including her safety hit team she sent out across the system thinning the herd through micromanaging and drones

F--- no, if you have not noticed a lot of us got laid off about 3 years ago, last year was the biggest one for Mechanical, they just slowly finishing what is left with the unions well knowing their plans, and replacing with contractors, they had to do it slowly under the radar so the media stays off the topic and happy investors with record profits. That's it Folks.

Will they lay off more “machinists” in July/August? Hopefully not! Is all this due to tariffs? That’s what I heard…
