Thread regarding Dell Inc. layoffs

Dell Nashville Office Location Moving to Thompson's Station?

Hearing through the grapevine that Dell Nashville's lease with HCA is up in 2026 (have also heard 2027), and that the office might move to Thompson's Station.

Any truth to this? That's a full 40 minute drive from downtown Nashville to TS, I can't imagine what it would be in traffic.

For those of us out in say, Mt. Juliet, it's about a 54 min ride according to Google maps right now... on a lazy Saturday afternoon.

Thoughts?

I heard from a manager a couple of years ago that OKC was closing. I know the building is barely used now.

Haven’t heard of Thompson station. Only Antioch (near tanger) or Franklin. Murfreesboro had been thrown out but I would bet Antioch over any other rumor. We still have 2 years before the lease is up.

I agree with that statement this is all about opex reduction when people are having to bring in their own office supplies and toilet paper you know the numbers are way off at Dell they have countless meetings and calls about generative AI and it won't fill their gaps.

It's going to be moved. The location is still up for speculation. No, they won't care about your commute time
