Work at knowles and holy sh-t this place is a disaster. We have more or less rolling layoffs basically every quarter and nobody knows who's getting cut next. heard someone got laid off after 4 months, another guy after 30+ doesnt matter how long you've been here. management keeps saying we need to "lower headcount" but then they hire new people at the same time which makes zero sense.
c-suite only cares about their own bonuses while the rest of us do 2-3 people's jobs because they won't replace anyone who leaves. been here 5 years and watched all the good engineers bail. they give you 2-3% raises if you're lucky but if you actually get a decent raise you basically have a target on your back for the next layoff. upper management changes priorities every quarter so any long-term projects get scrapped constantly.
Used to be a family environment but now it's just "did you hear who got let go today?" every single day. benefits are decent and most coworkers are cool but the constant fear of getting cut makes it impossible to focus on actual work. honestly embarrassed to have this company on my resume at this point.RetryClaude can make mistakes.
