well, this is in Canada but there is nowhere else to stick this post. anyhow. leddartech just cut 95% of staff ~140 people and we're (pretty much done). got canned too...
went from 9mil cash in march to 4mil by may. couldn't pay our debts to desjardins bank. they called it "temporary layoffs" at first but a big deal just fell through and now they're saying we won't resume operations.
stock crashed from $1.30 to 20 cents. we raised 140mil a few years back and went public in 2023 but the whole autonomous vehicle thing never worked out.
honestly saw this coming - money's been tight for months. su-ks for everyone who lost their jobs though. if you're in quebec tech there's gonna be a lot of good engineers looking for work
