@2pv source? I'm still getting technical interview requests every week.
Its really funny because majority of the hires in Google are not technical anymore, its a company run by accountants and sales people.
The quality of googlers is now so low, Google can get rid of 66% of employees and see no statistically significant difference.
Alphabet business operates on a different level: keep tens of thousands of ballast employees to get rid of them before analyst calls to control/increase the stock price.
triple that number over the next year and you might get close to the actual amount.
The irony is AI will take your jobs.
It just won't ever be able to do them.
It's all just a big excuse to fire everyone 😂
