Thread regarding SAP layoffs

SAP now No. 2 ERP vendor

Oracle is posting analyst findings that they are now No 1 in ERP market share.

They have higher growth rates (FY25 numbers), greater cloud RPO, higher revenue and net income, and higher customer NPS.

What is the board doing besides cost cutting to drive EPS? Where is the real innovation (versus Blue-washing AI offerings)? The sales team can only put so much lipstick 💄 on the S/4 and cloud ecosystem. We need competitive offerings to drive growth!!!

Oracle #3 and SAP #5 in cloud wars update.

Gartner article shares that less than 40% of base has adopted S/4 after 9+ years. Are 60% really going to move in time?

I don’t care what Oracle says… we need better products and outcomes.

Outcomes = income in sales. You’re likely a parasite in some non-quota carrying overlay role.

"Put your full trust in the board" is probably the last thing female employees hear at SAP events before they black out for the rest of the night.

Nobody gives a sh-t about SAP in the US, German company German players. It’s been like this for years, too complex for agility that is why McDermott left and making millions somewhere else.

To succeed you need to be agile, not overly complex and costs you millions of dollars extra and are locked into your contract and your implementation is still not successful.

Do your homework.

This is wild after all these years. Oracle the little annoying brother has rewritten the code line with fusion and now has passed SAP. It’s quite a rebirth for Larry here. CK getting out played big time.

Too many woke leadership assignments. SAP cant execute basic sales strategy that built the company in the first place. Way to go Loretta…

Stock may be up, investors happy, but customers not.

CK-fan is bought by RSUs and Board’s definition of success 🤔 😂. Good luck Hime.

The board is doing an outstanding job. Therefore it is the fault of the employees if things are not perfect.
