Thread regarding Indiana layoffs

The state sc--wed up their budget so badly they had a $2 billion shortfall. That's not a typo - $2 billion. And their solution.... fire the people who actually do the work.
They hit education the hardest. Six people from the Dpt of Edu gone. 14 from the School for the Deaf - a school that serves some of the most vulnerable kids in the state. 16 from the State Library (OK, I am getting this one, nobody reads books any more).
