My prediction is we'll have major cuts before the end of the year.

Indeed it seems there has been a "trim" at Director level - some. very good ones, too-and even some VPs have been pushed out.
Who knows if thinning orgs some more is imminent...
I find it bizarre companies are actually talking up recession momentum despite the fact their fiscal results don't show it... other than for hyped companies that hired brainlessly.
It already started quietly removing middle level leaders.
Let me add that I don't have any inside knowledge, this is just my own prediction.
