Are you happy at Sandisk? Would you have opted to go to WD given a choice pre-split?
Would you go to Sandisk if you ended up at WD if given the opportunity?

no, thanks
can point a finger in many directions, but we know the acquisition failed to deliver as expected. It failed for near textbooks reasons and should be a case study added to a long list of mergers and acquisitions that didn’t live up to expectations. An activist investor and their money did the necessary. Good luck to us all regardless of where we ended up
I will not defend any of the CSCO clowns that ran WD just before split but they were not the ones that were around when SanDisk was acquired. Plenty of blame to go around including the HGST people.
No
knowing the executive leadership, name a reason anyone at WD would opt for flash
@av strongly agree. Previous management was horrible.
left and happier
: @av+1jxdzmnc changing the CEO is a start, but look at WD a little deeper as seems not much change in many middle management (SVPs,VPs)
No but this company needs to get its sh*t together.
based on executive & senior leadership WD; no to flash w/o changes
I was asked to pick what side I wanted to be on as many were. As legacy W I stayed W and have no regret. Most W people I know would agree as WWSM was great opportunity to see how the rank and file felt. Now we have a CEO that is approachable and humble.
