Pretty easy to get 7k. They could literally slash 50% and still get the same outcome. Company is bloated where entry level hires are tagged as managers because all they need to do is manage vendors. Attend meetings all day. Travel 4 months in year and just drink the kool-aid.
Everyone has to chime in to any mass email or in meetings just to be relevant. Rotate to another team every 2 yrs.
They should cut vendor spend by 50% and then see how it affects the company.

The only reason they make money is because they sell essential stuff like soap, toothpaste, cleaning supplies. This wont last long as asia is seeing small brands eat into their sales. Walmart and Target have their white label products now.
They talk about DEI but it is not diversity of thoughts and inclusive of all hires. Two groups. Ones who join as fresh grads and grow in the company which is 80% and second group is what they call external hires. I have seen my coworker called external hire now for 5 yrs and she is sick of the treatment. No promotions because she is external hire. Totally biased and they hand pick only those they know aka grew up with at PG.
It is a global mega corp. If you work here layoffs are a natural thing. Expect to be treated as a number TK-421.
