Thread regarding ViacomCBS layoffs

Is it just me, or is the time dragging on today?

I both want them to let us know and I'm petrified about what that could mean for my future. I need a job somewhere with better job security.

What's with the line, "...with the majority of impacted staff being notified today."

Does that mean an undisclosed amount of people will be notified AFTER today?

I mean, every second of not getting a laid off email is golden. Ive heard layoffs will conclude by noon, 4.30, end of day...not sure which is right, but I know the calls started at 9am. I figure it cant be too much longer before its all over. Hey, im stoked to have made it to 11.30am. Come on baby

Usually, the email request requesting you for a meeting, goes out between 8 and 9 AM local time. I have not heard of anyone getting let go yet.
