I don't work at Twitter but like everybody in the tech field, I've been following what's going on with rapt attention. Now I'm confused. Are people working today or not? Are notifications going out yet? Does even any one of you there know what's going on? I'm truly sorry you have to deal with this mess just because a billionaire with thin skin made an impulse offer and you got stuck with the disastrous aftermath.

I wish everyone affected a lot of success.
The timing of this event is unfortunate, it happened at a time when other companies are closing their doors.
I suppose there will always be demand for people with good talent and work ethic.
It’s also a lesson for me personally. I feel I have gotten a bit lazy after the whole WFH thing during and post COVID - rude awakening for me to keep my skills and tools sharp.
Its a WFH holiday so far, and they're alerting the people that are safe before cutting the rest loose.
