Lawsuit on no WARN notice

And the class action for WARN Act violations has already been filed. Sounds like the Chief Twit didn't give 60 days warning OR severance, as required by law:

From Business Insider
"Read the blunt Twitter email telling employees that their jobs are axed"

  • - Grace Kay :

"Today is your last working day at the company, however, you will remain employed by Twitter and will receive compensation and benefits through your separation date of February 2, 2023."

I wonder how that worked out for HP, Intel, and other company employees. I doubt it keeps Musk or his lawyers awake at night.

Sympathetic with the impacted employees. However, the legal path related to 60 day notice does not seem to be viable if company choose to pay the employees 60+ days in lieu of advance notice. This was frequently practiced by many companies.

Aren't the terminated employees getting pay and benefits through Feb 2 2023?
