Thread regarding Kelly Services Inc. layoffs

@OP forget the applicant time, why would they waste their own time?? They make internal promotions all the time. They hire people from outside the company with into roles with no posted job. I think it’s more likely they got to know the individual for motion and realized they had the skill set to do that job and had a fresh perspective on things which is nearly impossible to have as a long-term Kelly employee.

Prior to Sean to Kelly IT was a road block to doing business. I don’t agree with everything Kelly does, but Sean was exactly what Kelly needed. A CIO who understands that we were there to provide a world class staffing service…we weren’t there to run a corporate IT department who’s first answer to any question was usually “No”. Kellys old IT structure was bloated, slow, and indifferent to our clients and consultants. And if people who aren’t there anymore don’t see that, then those people were part of the problem.
