More layoffs coming?

There are too many rumors to ignore. I really hope it’s just anxiety and nothing more. If you have any solid information, please share. Everyone on my team is on edge. No one can afford to lose their job right now. We all have financial obligations and people depending on us. There’s not much room to maneuver.

There will be more. It’s Q4, the numbers won’t look good. The easy button is to layoff to please the board and stakeholders. Executives can retain their multi million dollar compensation package. We’re all rows in an excel spreadsheet. These smaller stealth layoffs will be justified by AI (even though nothing substantial has been implemented), reorgs, and increased offshoring. You generate new profitable products or you cut spending. Iger has shown that he cannot lead a team to improve Disney movies, parks or experiences. So Yes, more layoffs will be coming so long as he is in charge. He has stated he will retire next year. We can only pray that this is the first time since coming back that he isn't lying
