After about 6-9 months of actual gaslighting, PP finally ADMITS the firm is laying people off. Several weeks ago, my department is notified that 3,000 Home Office employees are being offered VSPs. TODAY, my department sends an email with a link to view department accomplishments AND lists NEW HIRES! You know who does this kind of thing and exhibits this kind of behavior? CULTS.

I know we are all angry and frustrated. But let us not stoop down to race baiting by picking on Indians. They did not cause this problem.
Our mostly white American ELT (PP and team) is the culprit. They made the decision to stick it to us by moving jobs offshore.
@am You ever have to sit on a zoom call with five guys from india who dont understand anything you tell them, you dont understand them, and they are being trained to take your job? Then, after your 4hr training session is done, you have to play catch up with core work. Then after 8hrs of fun, you then have to work on resume updates, schedule job interviews (assuming you make it to that round) and find new jobs to apply to while dealing with spouse and kids. This isnt cleaning out a closet, this is tossing your most competant loyal workers overboard in exchange for cheap indian labor so the $ look good on paper. Everyone sees through it. We see who surrounds you, we see the playbook and can smell the rot a mile away.
I will be looking for that large mural that says Money is my GOD in the atrium at the Manchester office.
@OP, are you aware a division went through the Reimagined last Spring?
Its not a "Cult." It's a VSP/ISO offering. I know folks who are taking the VSP and know a lot who are opting out.
I'm a tenured associate in a new department (new hire per say).
