There may be too many middle managers…but the real grifters are at the top!
The amount of VPs who are worthless is astounding….. they are the ones who are responsible for the bloated middle management and kingdom building that has taken place over the last 25 years.
We changed CEOs 5 times in the last 15 years…. But I’m so many orgs you have the same VPs and Directors in place for the last 20 years. Drastic change is needed here, time to change it up.
If this doesn’t happen… then Intel is F’ed.

You are exactly right. The top level managements are the sources of corruptions and root cause of Intel’s bad culture. They are politicians, no clue of technology.
Now if they are the king and police, it will make the company worse and worse.
Intel is not a technical company anymore, as the top 3 managements are completely anti-technology.

The only solution for Intel: Gut the fu-k'n place. Get rid of everyone at the top. Replace the VPs, directors, all top levels of management. All the way down stopping only at the people who actually do work. Replace the entire BOD and hire industry professionals who know what the fu-k they are doing!

Intel is bloated at the top many decades. Look at the multi level pass downs that they were all playing. It is not surprising that Intel remains where it is for the hierarchy and promotional structure from PEs, Directors, VPs, Fellows, and so on. Flatten it and all the fa-t will go.
You are 100% correct. Change at the top will NOT occur and yes, Intel is Fu---d! Too many fat executives doing nothing and making millions.
