For those of us who were previously employed at CSA, do you feel like we are lied to on a daily basis?
For starters, all we heard last year after the layoffs was how great it would be to work under the Canon USA banner. We were told that the six months leading up to the transition would be bumpy but all things once transitioned would get better. Has it?
In January on the kickoff call we had to endure some strange woman telling us how to embrace change after six months of leadership telling us only our email address would change. Almost like “Hey we fooled you” so here is how you should handle things moving forward. It was like the entire company was sitting in with the psychologist on Billions.
Now we have to endure yet another price increase. An increase that we can not pass onto our customers. This increase is to ensure that reps that have sold GP for long time reduce their overall compensation and put more money back to the company. Does anyone really think that customers in this economy will pay 10% to 20% more for the same technology? We sell copiers/printers in a world where everything is going digital.
The company saw an opportunity to raise the price and blame the tariffs. When word came down that the tariffs were being put on hold we heard crickets from corporate. Why? These increases were happening regardless. The tariff excuse sounded really good.
Sales will be flat in June and that theme will run right through the summer months of July and August. It’s clear this company has a mindset to either force you to leave because you will struggle to sell the product or they will cut you and blame it on a lack of demand for the product.
