I even took a pay cut for a role that doesn’t make me dread Mondays. Building new skills from the ground up is scary, I admit, but the peace of mind is priceless. I've learned that sometimes the supposed "step back" is actually the leap forward. My health's been thanking me.

I did the same. About a 10% cut but 3 days home, 2 in office, my commute is half the distance, no parking wars, no spyware lagging my computer, and on that note I have an actual computer now instead of a glorified tablet (surface). My family says I seem like a new person now - happy, rested, anxiety doing ok (despite the crazy world rn) - and I really feel it too. It was a hard choice to leave, but it was the right one. I hope Fiserv gets this sh-t together and starts caring about employees again before its too late to save the talent that's left.
i did it too. same pay but better bonus and benefits. At a company that walks the talk and lets employees have flexibility with no monitoring.
i’m sleeping so much better and feeling a lot more at ease with my life mentally.

Congrats! This is my goal. If I can get a remote job even taking a pay cut I’m there 1000%. It’s getting discouraging that my almost 10 years of experience it’s hard to find a job.
