I’ve heard rumored that the GTIC is for sale. Does anyone know if the FR openings listed on the careers page are just old listings?, or are they still actively hiring and if so are they still training in Oldsmar? I assumed that place was pretty much closed up by now.

- - as a ROC employee, I promise, we HATE having to make 6 contacts per hour. It’s work horse mentality and not needed. The large number of PRS’ lead to very small home counts per PRS, so Nielsen essentially forced our hand and threatened with pip for not making the mandatory of 6 contacts per hour worked. (40 hours =240 calls a week…) a PRS has maybe 300 homes assigned per month. The math ain’t math’in and the logic definitely ain’t logic’in. I am personally mindful when contacting people, but the newer employees weren’t built to have that empathetic quality of realizing our panelists are just people living their lives and don’t want to be harassed by the ROC.

I’m an FR and I’m sure they won’t be hiring more in our roles at this time. The managements decision to fire all of the US PRS’ is insanity and a bunch of my peers in my market are quitting when the last of the US PRS depart. The amount of homes in our market that call and complain daily about the Mexico based PRS team is atrocious, they can’t understand them, they’re being coached completely incorrectly or taking double the amount of time on interims and scheds as our US PRS’. The company is going to tank itself because of their greedy decision to let the bread and butter go. Absolutely no offense meant towards our Mexico based peers and teams, but panelists are NTOing due to the different level of care and empathy that is or isn’t provided depending on who they speak with at the office.
The only ones I’m seeing are for MR’s not FR’s. From what I was told from a previous manager they will no longer be hiring FR’s as attrition happens due to people quitting or getting fired they will not backfill those positions. They will then delegate the work to the closest reps.
