So our SVP of CX is demoted to VP so that the CEO can hire his brother as a new SVP. Meanwhile we need to cut costs and outsource everything.

@OP interesting. Where did you hear that, and what SVP role will his brother get?
Getting as much as they can in their pile before the ship goes under. And it’s going under quickly. I will be surprised if those that took the VRP this time will even get their full payout before it all collapses. I personally know several who took it that had well over 30 years in, some close to 40 years. That’s over two years of collecting a check for those people. I honestly don’t believe this company will be in business two years from now.
