With the economic uncertainty, things like streaming and travel for fun will be the first to get cut in the coming months and years. Fewer people will be going to the movies, and even fewer will be visiting the U.S., which means resorts are going to take another hit. This round of layoffs feels like a warm-up, a prep move for the downturn. Once it really hits, it’s going to be a bloodbath.
