You can see how they're embarrassed as they song and dance through the BS resetting performance webcast. This company didn't need a new performance management system. It needs a new LT.

Just voluntarily left BP in the middle of reset and warn you…no exit interview was conducted despite showing up in the checklist. KD not pretend to care of course
Total bonus budget is designed to be smaller but it wasn't by design.

Having an HR at EVP doesn’t make any sense. We’re not a staffing company. She should be automatically bottom 10% amongst all EVPs. Someone please buy bp and get rid of the entire LT.
KT went to visit the Argos platform and she was telling the offshore folks the same song and dance about needing to perform. The offshore folks told them they were performing and all the obstacles they had to overcome to produce above the planned target. You would think the CFO would have an idea of what the production numbers are on the platform she is visiting before going there and it was her first time ever offshore. In the webcast she did say that some regions are performing and others weren't. Looks like she is driving the show and pushing out this half-baked program before it's ready and creating angst and anxiety already. Typical of bp and she harps on us about needing to perform.

the bottom 10% of you will be punished, and the beatings will continue until morale improves.

A strategic shift of blame from the LT to the workers that YOU are responsible for the sh-tshow this company has become.
It will not change the bias and favouritism that rewards “top performers” and gives them a great way of reducing bonus spend and binning 10% of the workforce every year. Can we also bin 10% of the LT each year please?
Oh and get rid of this terrible breakfast news / comms style with hosts and autocues. Utter cr-p.
I know for sure all the LT would be in the low 10% of the new performance score card yet they still get stock options and more bonuses than their salaries...starting to think it may be better to get the payout and leave for greener pastures
@a6 Yeah, KT gives very Marie Antoinette vibes. She'd be quite happy to sack every one of us if it increased her bonus.

Everyone pssd off with 40 for 40 so they lurch even further to 50 for 25 and then chop 10% of people’s bonuses in half!
