NXP is going through several hidden layoff. Anything expected in June or July end. Start of next quarter ?

NXP has stated it is leaving US. They likely will scale back jobs and either sell or shutdown all US factories once product lines are transferred to the 300mm sites in Malaysia, Dresden, and maybe some to TSMC. They talked about this last year and had planned it for some time/years due to restrictions by US govt on selling chips to China. The risk to employees is continued layoffs and worst case is shutdown of factories.
NXP is closing their business in the US. No surprise they finally announced some layoffs with more to come. They will mostly close shop on their US locations, only interested in chinese business not in the american one. Their factories will close as well, lot of unemployment coming over for several families in US soil
