Michael's Quarterly Update: Perspective on FY26 Q1 Email

Browsing emails before switching off for the evening. Just saw the "Quarterly Update: Perspective on FY26 Q1" email from our illustrious "leader".

The guy clearly has a reminder set and thought "best I send an email to the poor sods who keep this place going". Mediocre at best. I wouldn't send an email like that to my ex-wife, let alone to people I value. It speaks volumes.

It's to move on, Mr Dell. And take your buddy Jeff and his collection of dirty t-shirts with him. And Bad Mood Billy. Let him head off to his dream job at Snowflake. Perhaps you could beg Marius to come back, and bring John Byrne back too. A couple of guys who had a passion for the business beyond the next billion of personal wealth.

I felt incredibly inspired by Michael's email. I want to run faster, work longer, sacrifice more, all for the greater good. I realize from reading the email that I am the one being selfish by not doing enough when others are doing more. My target is now to work 80 hours weeks so that I can keep up with other Team Members.

Is it the same guy who was saying that future is in "remote work and work environment has changed forever" a shortwhile ago? I'm curious what is a degree of trust this guy expects after mandatory 5 days RTO order..

I thought this was the quarterly SPAM email so I reported it as a phishing attack.
