I had a dinner with an HR friend last night and she mentioned seeing press releases prepared, Tom Ryan is out as of next week. If that happens, what happens to streaming?

i hope the last post is accurate and streaming isn't hit again but ive heard streaming non tech (tech would be after merger ) will be hit
Budget and forecast are not the same thing. That being said streaming isn’t being hit that hard in June. Once the merger happens that’s a different story.
Just want to share some findings for streaming people, don't worry too much if you are in P+ or Pluto. There was a streaming finance town hall on May 28th, in which they stated it is bet+ that run over budget. And if you look at the chart, employee budget actually goes up in Q3,4.

The market doesn’t care about Tom Ryan. What exactly has he done? As somebody posted below, Tom has been in the outs for a long time and Cindy will be taking over once the merger happens
@OP I'm not saying he is or he isn't out (who knows), but HR doesn't write press releases, and random HR people wouldn't see that one from press if he was. His leaving would move the stock price and upset the market. That would leave CM in charge, and we all know he knows fu--ing nothing streaming.
This kind of gave me a relief. If TR is out that means we are all f-ucked. Lmao

Tom has been MIA for months. Don't forget, Skydance hired Cindy Holland for a reason. Once the merger occurs, she will take over.

this could be true with the streaming advisor brought in.. unless someone has seen the TH presentation and he's leading it - would also make me wonder about other streaming chief positions
