FedEx is laying off 305 employees, which accounts for over half of the workforce, at its Supply Chain Logistics and Electronics facility located at 13500 Independence Parkway in Fort Worth, North Texas. According to a WARN notice filed with the Texas Workforce Commission, these layoffs will take place between July 6 and October 25, 2025. The job cuts are a result of a FedEx customer deciding to transition a portion of its business to a new third-party logistics provider at a different location, a process expected to conclude by the end of October 2025. FedEx has stated that affected team members were notified in advance, and many may be offered alternative roles within the company, along with support such as job placement assistance, relocation aid, or severance packages.
