I am also so happy to be long gone from this mess. Such a ridiculous downward spiral. The DOGEing of Dell.

I am grateful every single day that I got my WFR last summer from this dumpster of a company.

"continues its strategic shift toward artificial intelligence (AI)"

you know this is just regurgitated nonsense. I don't see dell investing much in AI. It's just using it as an excuse for cost cutting

during the pandemic the fake MD grifted about WFH is the future and then proceeded to liquidate land/buildings/amenities.

Dell Technologies is reportedly preparing for another significant round of layoffs this August, as the company continues its strategic shift toward artificial intelligence (AI) and streamlines operations to adapt to changing market demands.

According to internal sources, the upcoming layoffs could affect thousands of employees across various departments, including sales, IT, services, and online business units. This move follows previous workforce reductions, with Dell having reduced its global headcount by approximately 25,000 employees over the past two years, bringing its workforce down from 133,000 in early 2023 to about 108,000 as of January 2025.
