I love how we have plenty of tough technical screens while selecting a candidates but when it comes to the quality of work, it’s not the same.

I keep seeing people post "EMC" can someone tell me what that is? All I can find online is an old company that closed a decade ago.
It's because Dell doesn't offer any training that is actually useful. When I hired on with EMC I got several weeks of great hands on training on the product I was expected to support. Fast forward a few years and I am assigned to a completely different product and told to just fake it until I make it.
