More than 100 Iowans to lose jobs in F&G layoffs
F&G Annuities and Insurance announced they are laying off nearly 200 people.
Of the 192 who will lose their jobs, 103 are in Iowa. The company says it will impact the Des Moines headquarters and remote operations.
In a statement to KCCI, a company spokesperson says this is in alignment with the company's goals to ensure long-term success.
"We are providing support to impacted team members, including a comprehensive separation benefits package," the company says.
