If you are a person in the United States, who has recently been laid off from Dell, or if you were a knowledgeable person with HR, I would like to know if you had unused vacation time at the time of your notification, and if it was paid out with your severance package.

Use it or lose it.
Not paid out unless you live in a state that requires it like CA, MT, or 1-2 others. Use it or lose it otherwise.
