There’s talk of a 50% reduction in workforce, and those who remain are facing a 40% pay cut. Overall, the deal is not well-received, and morale has significantly declined. Team has no motivation to work and it is evident from the unassigned tickets, customer escalations, meetings and so on.

Arista is an India focused company and they keep most employees in India for high profit margins. They donot open reqs in the U.S. No doubt the quality is better, but those products are in-house built. The quality they maintain is with automation and Velocloud has long way to go there and cannot be integrated with Arista tools anytime soon. Velocloud may go through similar path as they did with pluribus, untangle acquisitions with they eventually scrapped the products. Good luck!
@kd Compared to the previous CTO, the current architect’s work raises questions. The quality of the features he has developed in earlier days has been disappointing. I’m surprised that the new company has chosen him for a leadership role, but I suppose we’ll see how things unfold soon.

On top of that they were getting revenues from an Indian company and they were paying them back for other services in a round tripping scheme to show fake revenues. So whats new? - this BU has been slowly matching towards its own death for quite some time. as long as the current mgmt are still in charge it wont turn around no matter who owns them. Anyone still hanging on is a fool for thinking otherwise.
