I should have started looking for another job when the voluntary layoffs at UHC were announced. Now I'm just hanging on until I find something outside this org. I'm in optum tech but so many employees took the layoff pkg that I have to interact with low-level business partner mgrs in UHC. I'm not talking brain surgery here, but they have no idea what's happening. If the company is so tight on money how can UHC have mgrs with only 2 or 3 employees under them. This is their full-time job. Micro-managing 2 or 3 employees. They don't do any other work. Now that they have to do some work, they try to pass it off tech by yelling and screaming.

Yep. This company has carelessly layed off or made no effort to retain 'foundational' employees. Those that understood how things worked and were holding things together. Now chaos reigns and managers are left passing the buck. Everyone is dancing in place until they find something else.
Enjoy! All the business side of UHC are clueless. Anyone who had a clue retired years ago and there was no plan to pass on how things work. So now the "managers" cannot hide anymore.
Managers, that’s a joke. They have no managers at UHG. They just have bobble heads that only know how to lead by creating intimidation and hostile work environments.
