Thread regarding Fiserv Inc. layoffs

Heart attacks

I think I m have panic attacks daily at Fiserv. Someone tell me how to deal with this lifestyle and go to the office for a full 8 hours a day after doing COVID. How do I get away from working and why was I born in a lower caste to deal with this. My boss sometimes looks at me constantly when I am just trying to watch videos at work. Thanks for anyone out there on this site listening.

Since you mentioned caste, I assume you're not in the US. But, if you are, absolutely considering taking FMLA time to recover and re-enter, and get your resume tuned up and start applying elsewhere.

My dr had to bump my anxiety meds twice in my time at Fiserv after I'd been on a stable dose for 8 years. Even my dr was urging me to leave because how quickly I declined. Best decision I made for my health was leaving and I love my new job! Stress can ki-l - please take care of and prioritize your health, because Fiserv isn't going to.

Fiserv and companies like Fiserv will work you to death and replace you the next day-- if they can because more and more people are learning about it's garbage work culture.

Do what you have to do to protect yourself and your family. If you don't, you have only yourself to blame.

Read up on the FMLA laws, read up on the workplace accommodations policies, communicate your stresses to your doctors, one they fill out the paperwork based on your valid medical concerns, submit to HR.

They've been cooperative based on my experience.

They will roll you out in a body bag and throw the next hamster in the wheel. Don’t overwork and stress yourself out for this place.

@OP I know 3 people in as many years that have had serious heart attacks. Don't stress yourself out, and put more effort into finding a new job than trying to please this one.

@OP
Find a better job. One that supports your mental health and doesn't cause you panic attacks. Staying in that situation is not worth it for your long-term health. I know this from experience. I have long-term health consequences from working for Fiserv for too long.
