I don’t trust that leadership will manage the reorganization quickly or efficiently in the wake of these cuts, especially since they seem to have no clear idea of what they actually want to achieve beyond reducing costs. If there’s a vision, a strategy, or any bold new ideas, I certainly haven’t heard them. It’s shaping up to be a mess, and who knows how long it will last.

Has anyone noticed the numbers aren’t going down? They were at 150 but aiming for 110 then 100 the 80. But stalled out around 100k and climbed back towards 108.
The goal is to cut costs, but not the you think. It’s savings on salaries and severance. Making it so miserable people quit. But they’re hiring hordes of fresh out of college and contractors. They just want to kick out people who make the most especially older ones.
you trim fat until your org breaks, then you start hiring again. You dont care about overworking your workforce, you only care about OpEx.

When has dell leadership ever managed anything quickly or efficiently? Change managed to mangled and yes they do that quickly and efficiently.
