It's so common here that my manager tells all new hires during their introduction, "Good luck."
Why would anyone work for this company when you can be RIF'ed anytime for their strategic business reason? RIFs do happen everywhere, but it seems regular and more common at JPMC.
They've been doing it slowly and silently through small RIFs here and there so its impossible to know. On the tech side its been happening for sure.
