May God give strength to all tech folks whose micro manager checks the stories and even the story points.

Does your manager live in Omaha or speak English?
My Micro-Manager Picks My Seat in the Office, T
Could you provide the name of the team and any details about the manager and location.
Not in direct
My Micro-Manager Picks My Seat in the Office, Tells me when I can take my Kids to the doctor it should be either a Tuesday or Friday, Is never happy with the emails I send and wants to always see it before I send, Won't solve any real technical or cross-team issues but wants Zero Bugs in Production not even Minor ones with little to no impact on any clients, Bullies our team to give high glint scores, Is fully remote but keeps bugging me to go to the office 3 days a week and shares my badge swipes in every 1:1, Only hires Indians on H1Bs who can be controlled and has rejected many good programmers who did very well in technical interviews, Has hired 4 people from her previous company, Has graduated in the 90s and hasn't built anything in the last 3 decades. My Micro-Manager Makes My Life Miserable. Long Live My Micro-Manager.
They are just justifying their existence - no need for them with all the stories, etc......
The company failed when Jira and Confluence became deliverables
@a4+1jw061xvf Really? To check if its really 5 or 8 or 13 points? To test our tech lead's understanding of stories in front of others? To sarcastically ask a question to test if tech lead got it wrong? I sense trust issues here, I understand if its targeted on just 1 resource, but not the entire team. People leader is not an architect and shouldn't peep into tech conversations every day.
You mean doing their job? Your manger has responsibilities, just like you.
