What's the URL to access the ESPP now? I talked to Schwab and they have no information other than my shares were moved out. Once I find out I'm selling 100%, this is insane...
again another hairbrain idea by some HR or ELT i di ot who is trying to justify their job or looming promotion by F ing all of us who are responsible with our investments, by forcing us to use a cheap second rate , rat hole of investing operation. Chuck is the best and now we have to use the walmart of trading. Its like they are trying to get us to resign and leave..........
It’s not ideal and I hate having another brokerage account.
I hate having 2 credit cards. I hate having 2 cars. I hate having 2 ...
It was actually me who proposed the move to MG. That saves Cisco $200. I got a $50 for this suggestion. Win:win!
It’s not ideal and I hate having another brokerage account. But you can keep existing shares in Schwab. No one is going to force a transfer. And I highly doubt they will automatically move those shares in to MS. It’s easy to initiate a broker-to-broker transfer. Takes 2-3 days and any fractional shares would be liquidated. Keep in mind you may lose your cost basis info.
Adding etrade only made it cost more and take longer to get your equity or "value". Another stupid buzz word...
Is it announced yet? What about those no longer at Disco?
obviously MS just offered the sweetest deal
in a few years this will come up for bid again and whoever offers a better deal will get the same deal as MS and you'll have yet another account to deal with
Well they already sh-t the bed on what's happening to the existing schwab accounts. Are they moving shares for us? Is it just yet another new account where new shares go? I know ppl use/used Schwab cuz their pile of csco was there. What happens to the other stuff you have at Schwav? Seems like total bs to me
Just plain on jumping through hoops if you ever want to transfer your stock to another firm. I just did so after retiring and it was like pulling teeth to get few stocks from Morgan Stanley to Computershare.
Like the Federal Government, Cisco is out of money and consolidating everything. No surprise
They are a reputable firm that's been around for 90 years.
I'm happy.
